Annual Survey 2026
We are asking everyone with experience of local health and social care services to take part in our annual survey.
We want to celebrate services that provide outstanding care and find out where improvements might be needed. To do this, we need feedback from YOU. Tell us about your recent experiences and we can help make your voice heard!
Healthwatch Gateshead will use your feedback to generate a report based on your views on how you assess the effectiveness of current service provision. We will also use this data to ensure we are reaching all parts of the community and to identify good practice and any gaps in services.

Autism and ADHD Post-Diagnostic Support Survey
Are you aged 18-24 with a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD? Or did you receive a diagnosis after the age of 50?
If so, we want to know about the support you received afterwards, so we can pass your feedback to service providers and help to make those services better.

Let’s talk about end-of-life care
Talking about death is something many people find difficult, but your views can make a genuine difference to how support is given at one of the most important moments in life.
The NHS in the North East and North Cumbria is asking people to share their views through a survey – 'Thoughts about Palliative and End of Life Care'. It asks how people how they feel about discussing death, dying and the care they would want for themselves or their loved ones.
