    During autumn 2018 the Local Government Association (LGA) asked people to think about the future of adult social care and support. As part of this we asked the views of Gateshead residents. The responses received are in this document, and also formed part of the response from Gateshead’s Health and Wellbeing Board, which was submitted to government.

    In early 2020 we worked with The Gateshead Housing Company. We gathered experiences of their service users on accessing Arabic interpreting and translation services for health appointments in Gateshead.

    With more and more appointments happening online, we've put together some tips on how to get the most out of the virtual health and care appointments both for patients and health and care professionals.
